WISeR and PRISM (People at Rockefeller Identifying as Sexual Minorities) co-host a breakfast each Friday morning during the academic year with the Rockefeller Friday Lecture speaker.

These breakfasts are intended to be discussions that focus on career development and diversity within the sciences. This is your chance to ask our Friday Lecture Series speakers questions that we often never get to ask: “How did you choose this career path? What adversity did you experience and how did you overcome it? How does your research benefit under-represented groups in science and biomedical research?”

All trainees are welcome to attend, although PRISM and WISeR members receive priority seating for these events. If you are interested in attending, join our listserve to receive emails to RSVP as either a host or an attendee. Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email with more information on the event. In order to keep the discussion intimate and informal, we have a limited number of slots available, which will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. To facilitate participation by all members of the community, we give priority to first-time attendees.

We hope you can join us as your participation is important to the WISeR initiative.
